Cupcakes!! Anybody wants? ^_^

Errr... I think quite some time already since I last updated my blog.Sorry sorry, cause nothing much to update mah..*o*

Today a colleague of mine brought me some cupcakes which she baked. Actually, before today, I've tried to ask her to bake those without toppings for this year Mother's Day as I wanted to give it to my granny. But, this year she said didn't plan to bake,hence, I mah can't purchase from her lo. However, last week, she suddenly asked me, do I still want the cupcakes without toppings that I wanted to give it to my granny? Of course, without any hesitation, I said yessss..Then she told me she planned to bake and will leave some for me without the toppings so I could give it to my granny.



So today, she passed me these beautiful cupcakes with the mixture of with and without toppings...hehe.Upon receiving, I asked her what's the cost that has incurred her? She happily said, she didn't want any monetary in return. :) I feel very touched and grateful to have such friend and colleague. Thank you so much to her for all her effort and heart that she puts in baking these beautiful cupcakes.

My 1st Church Camp ^_^ (June 4 - 6, 2010)

Okay, another backdated post..pai sei pai sei. Last Fri, June 4, I took leave to get ready for the 3 days 2 nights church camp as I need to follow a church friend. So, in the morning, she took me to a nice place for Koay Teow Th'ng for breakfast. And believe me, when I tasted the soup, my eyes was twinkling with shock as it was the best Koay Teow Th'ng I've tasted. Then I thought of intro to my friends and hubby, and bring them to the place to taste for themselves. But sadly, they only opened only on weekdays and closed on all public holidays and weekends...sigh and sigh...so how ar? The place is in town area, how to go and eat again I also don't know as to be frank with you, I'm really craving for the taste already. :(

So, after breakfast, we head back to church to prepare the final preparation and after that we head to Jerai Hill for the camp. All of us were excited and reached the hill around 4pm. The road to the hill was quite a challenging drive as there were at least ten plus sharp corners. The air was really refreshing, cooling and the view was fantastically picturesque. Ya....from the way I describe it, sounded too good to be true,right? Well, actually the place is really a place for a getaway from the bustling life..a place where we can have total relax and just enjoy the scenery. I think I'll just let the pictures do the work rather than me here describing it...lol!! However, not really advisable for people whom are looking for lots of entertainment because the place didn't really have much entertainment..it's more towards just a relaxation and free yourself from the stressful working life.

I really missed the place and the great time fellowship with the church friends. Not to mention also, have a great encounter with Him and also learned a lot through our invited Pastor to share the word of God with us.

Birthday Bash...for the super VVIP of our lives

The month of May usually will make quite a big hole to my pocket as it's my parents birthdays, ya...I didn't type wrongly, it's indeed both my mom and dad's birthday,my brother's birthday and also a Mother's day...so can you imagine already how big is the hole to my pocket? Nevertheless, I'm still glad and happy too la that I'm able to provide them something, though it's not really a big thing, but what the heart counts is most important thing of all..agree? :p And I guess they were quite happy too gua with just a small celebration and makan makan thingy.

So, this round, my parents birthday bash, I remembered to bring out the camera with me, so there will be pictures to share this round compared to earlier celebration of Mother's day and brother's birthday, which I forgot to bring out.:p So c'mon give me a round of applause la at least this round got pictures to see mah....right??

We went to Golden Triangle at Queensbay Mall for my parents birthday dinner. After ordering the food, I went down to Secret Recipe (SR) to get the birthday cake. I know..I know...all of you must be wondering why la I didn't get the cake earlier,right? Well, you see, I scared later that the dinner may not happen mah and also not to mention I wanted the cake to be a surprise mah...so I mah bought it on that day itself and then carried it to the restaurant and ask one of the waitress's help to be my accomplice, to keep the cake till end of the dinner lo. But, oh boy, lucky me that day SR still have some selections of a whole cake when I asked..if not jia lat... phewwww!! ^_^

We've ordered quite number of dishes and all of us had a great time feasting till our stomachs were bloated..lol!!Initially, we've actually planned to order some desserts and drinks after we are done with our dinner, but in the end, we got to scrap the plan cause our stomach didn't allow us to stuff anything else in anymore already..lol!!! After the sumptuous dinner, we got to ask one of the waiter to help us to refrigerate the cake at their place while we went for a walk in the mall to digest ourselves..hehe..

So here are some pictures to share..but then there's one dish where we forgot to take.which is the Otak Otak...but never mind, not so nice the presentation because what we wanted to order it's actually in fresh coconut, but unfortunately, they didn't have it that night, so we just had the other type where it's presented in aluminium foil lo *sniff sniff* Anyhow, still had a fabulous time.. ^_^

Happy Mother's Day

After my last updates, nothing much happening already lately, but then today, one of my buddy, whom is also a follower of my blog have asked me to update my blog wor..u know who are you then..lol!!

Before I start the post which goes with my title, please allow me to release the stress and tension I faced with my work.Yesterday was really a bummer. I was assigned quite a big and express case after an early submission of my earlier assigned case. Haiz... x_x So today, after so long time didn't bring work back,(shhhh....actually we are not supposed to bring our work back), but I got no choice as I don't want to be "Office Alone" - Part 2. Hence, got to bring back to work on it in order to meet the due date then. So, there goes my beauty sleep lo...sigh and sigh.

Well, despite that,some exciting and happy moments did happen also during the past weekends. Last Sat, May 8 was my first violin class. Though I was pretty excited and anxious about it, but when the day comes, I felt a bit "kekok" and scared too. Because it's my 1st class leh..and in addition, when I enter the house, I don't really feel comfy at all lo, as compared to my piano teacher house, where it really gives me a feeling like my own home like that..hehe. Hmm...I'm not sure is it because that I'm still new or not la...which I guess so gua. Secondly, I guess it's because of the teacher too gua as the teacher is a FEMALE..wondering why the caps leh? Haha....well, until today, I still quite phobia with female authority due to my past experience. Those who knows what happen to me, I think you know what I'm talking about. It's very hard to get rid of that fear in me still, as it really gave me a great impact of my life.. :( So, hopefully this fear in me will be rooted out soon as time goes by lo. Also, hope that I will be able to cope with all the classes too despite the temporary uncomfy-ness that I have to deal with for my violin class..*praying hard*

As for Sun,May 9, which is also a Mother's Day. Both families celebrated it with just a simple dinner. As you know la, during this day, a lot of eatery places also hiked up their prices with their special arrangement of dinner to accomodate the special occasion. So, to avoid being "vegetable head chopped", both families wise enough to just have a simple dinner together, after all the most important thing is to actually spending time and eating together, agree? *wink wink* Ohhh..wait wait....must be shocking leh and thought two families gathered together and celebrated Mother's Day? Haha....of course my hubby and I did it separately la...in-laws side, we did it on Sat night whereas my side, we did it on Sun night, like that mah can have two different meals as well as to avoid "kekok-ness" also...^_^ Aiyah, we forgot to bring camera out, if not would have pictures to share..pai sei pai sei. Next time then..hehe..

Anyway, though every 2nd Sun of the week in the month of May and June, will be marked in our calendar as Mother's Day and Father's Day, but I think not only that day we need to show our gratitude and love to our moms'and dads',in fact in our everyday life too, we should show our love and gratitude to our parents, for without them, we wouldn't be on this earth today, agree? Ok la..I guess I bla too much liao, need to get back to work already. Till next post, chow!!

My BIG and Special day... ^_^

Today marks the day I step into this world, which like everybody saying is also our mom’s big day too cause she had endured tough times in bringing us to this world. So here’s a toast to my beloved mom…hehehe!!

So, the day started of with birthday song,cake and prezzie by my fellow team mates and colleagues. They bought me Oreo Cheese Cake leh…so you can imagine how happy and frantic I was when I saw the cake…cheese mah. :p I loveeeee cheese…hehe, so I guess that’s how I ended up with my plus size look. x_x" As for the gift, my two close working mates got me a T-shirt..hehe...yay!! can add to my wardrobe collection already.. yippee!!

After that, they brought me to Golden Triangle at QBM for lunch, which serves Thai food. It was my 1st time there and we had ordered quite number of dishes, cause my SA says, since there are 6 of us, so each of us order one dish wor..ended up 6 dishes to finish. The food was really nice, but we too have tough time trying our best to finish most of the food cause we don't want to waste mah. The place also served buffet leh..hmmm... I think if can I would love to try the buffet spread one day..but wondering whether my stomach able to accommodate or not.. *thinking hard* Somemore with my age catching up, my stomach capacity is turning weaker.. :( On the other hand, maybe my hubby will faint too if he ever read this cause he got to fork out $$$ mah…muahahahaha!!! And, when we are on our way back to office, all of us were moaning due to our bloated stomach...can't even sit to work leh..so you imagine la how hard and much we actually stuffed the food into our stomach. *phewwww*

Towards evening, the celebration continues on with my loving hubby lo. Luckily he managed to finish work early leh..if not I will "kill" him, one not able to celebrate my big day and secondly, am stranded in office lo. So we went to QBM again as I told him I longed to eat the "liu sa pao" at Dragon-I. Hence, he took me there, but to my dissapointment, the "pao" finish already. Haiz haiz...so since we've actually placed other orders liao before reaches the "pao" ordering, we mah just continue with the plan lo. Then we were intro by the waitress of ordering whole steam fish when we ordered the steam slice garoupa fillet initially. So, since my hubby knows I love to eat fish a lot, especially steam type, he mah agreed with the waitress order lo. Of course I was very delighted to be pampared by my sweet hubby, but then when pay the bill that time, I got a shock of my life and my heart felt the deepest pain. Wondering why leh..cause hior the whole fish actually cost RM84+ leh...so tell me la, how my heart not ache? Then I told my hubby, I very kek sim lo..cause waste so much money on the fish, but he said aiyah, never mind la...it's my big day and moreover already eaten liao mah...plus it's going to serve as my birthday gift too wor. When the phrase saying 'serve as my birthday gift too', I got feel a bit upset at that moment, cause no more prezzie liao mah. Anyhow, though he's trying to console me, but still my heart aches a lot with the huge amount paid for the fish lo. *sob sob sob*

After that, he wanted to take me to drink coffee at Starbucks or Coffee Bean plus to eat cake cause he knows that I love coffee and cake a lot too. But then I told him no need already as the fish we consumed just now had cost a big hole to his wallet already. However, despite me saying no and him being a loving hubby, he insist on taking me too, so we mah ended up at Austin Chase,which serves coffee, other beverages as well as cake too. We seated there for a while to enjoy our drinks and the cake, but to our dissapointment, the cake wasn't really nice lo. Besides that, we also had several rounds of UNO card game too..hehehehe. Later on, when we reached home, I was shocked when my hubby surprised me again with a birthday gift leh..hehe.. :p He bought me a DKNY apple-licious frangrance, which is one of my favourite perfume. I was really touched by what he have done and prepared for me. In short, this year birthday celebration is really amazing with all the treats and prezzies showering over me. But then one thing I'm upset about....it's my WEIGHT. Gosh, with all the food stuffed into my stomach, I need to DIET already.....start sweating hard already..*worrying face*

Killing many birds with one stone..haha

This is a backdated post..hehe. Must be wondering why the title sounds like that,right? Patience, let me roughly explained. Well, you see last Saturday, one of my dear buddy had organized a pot luck party cum gathering for a pre-baby shower, birthday celebrations as well as gathering.So, the title mah sounded like that lo...one party covering all the occasions..lol!!

However, too bad one couple was not able to make it, in which the party was also meant for them, for their little prince whom will be coming out soon to this world...*sob sob* Though all of us were quite upset, but we still carry on with the party with loads of food, where all of us were stuffed till we even need to ta pao the food back.Apart from us ta pao-ing the food, we also manage to ta pao laksa for our mama-to-be too.

It was a great time partying and catching ups since the last time we gathered. I even got an early surprise birthday cake and present leh...feel so touched and honored..hehe..As for the pictures, will share it out once I have it..so stay in touch for the beautiful pictures taken then.

It's Mooon-day again..

Well, reading the title of the post, guess you will know how I feel huh?! But, it's everybody's blue and boo hoo day also la..I bet. Well,anyway, spent the weekend over at Prai for some reasons as well as to give FIL a pre-birthday celebration lo as the actual day falls on weekday. I just bought a cake for him and only came to know that this year was his 1st time celebrating wor..according to MIL la. :p Besides all that, I admit I kinda upset a bit also lo as I didn't get to go for the Easter celebration mah, which is on Sunday morning.Missed the choir presentation la...and I heard got arrangement of cello playing also,.ish..ish..missed that too.

But then as the consolation prizes to it,I guess I did make my FIL happy gua by having a small birthday celebration with him as well as I manage to go for Good Friday's service lo. In addition to that, a colleague of mine manage to accompany me and we have a great time fellowshipping over our dinner. Though it was raining last Friday, but thank God it wasn't really that heavy, if not guess I wouldn't able to drive to the church already. Well, must be wondering, how's the jam, right? Like you've known, usually raining in Penang, all drivers will tend to be more careful, and hence, all of the drivers mah like turtle crawling, weaving in and out of the traffic lo..not to mention there are some unscrupulous drivers also which got on my nerves too.

Anyway, though it's late already, but it's better than never,right? So, here's wishing all my friends "Happy Belated Easter Day!"
