Down again...

After for quite some time didn't go see doc or taking any MCs, today marks the day again. I was having a bad stomach pain after the dinner with my family last Sat night. But I thought, maybe due to eat too much and too full that makes my stomach feeling uncomfortable. Hence,I just ignore the pain and little did I know that the pain actually attacked me whenever after I finishes a meal for the next couple of days. So, I can't withstand any longer, then mah went to consult doc yesterday night. After checking, doc diagnosed me with acute gastritis wor...and prescribe me few medicines..eeee yucks!!! I hate medicine..SOS!! In addition, the doc advised me not to take coffee, tea, spicy and sour food la...which made me stare the doc in shocking manner. Because for those who knows me well, coffee is like my lover like that...every morning before starts work, I need coffee..and then spicy and sour food, I love it too...sigh and sigh....how??!!

Well, anyway, surprisingly this doc whom seldom gave MCs to his patients, suddenly yesterday night asked me whether I need MC for today or not. I told him I'm not sure, but then he said, never mind, I'll issued you the MC then. So, today despite I have a report due today, but I have smsed my team leader for help...sigh... But thank God, am recovering already but still on the medication..somemore the doc prescribe the liquid type medicine...it's like killing me softly with the taste and smell..*sob sob*

What a day to find out....haiz..

After work, I finally went to see doc as I've had this pricking stomach pain that makes me feel quite uncomfortable. No..no...it's not gastric, my guess was it must be something wrong in my stomach. I know some of you for sure will be hoping that I would say I'm preggie, right? Ishhh..ishhh..like I say, not so fast la....need some more "me time" la...

So, went to the doc and I told him I've beein coughing hard during the night and hence, having a sleepless night. I've also added to him that during day time, I seldom cough though occasionaly have, but not as worst at during night time. Then,I too told him about the stomach pain I'm experiencing today, and of course the doc will ask me question relating on how la...when it started and bla bla bla. After that, he asked me to turn my back facing him, and he used his stethoscope to listen to my back. He listened not just a while like usual doc does, he listened for quite long time also. Then being me, of course I kin cheong alr lo...questions been spinning inside my head, thinking what's wrong with me? Why the doc instead listening to my heart (where I've told him I cough badly alr mah...prolly need to listen for phelgm or my breathing want mah), instaed of listening to my back and somemore for so long?

Hmmm...later on, after he listened finish alr, he asked me, do I happen to feel that my voice changed lately? I said ya, it's like more coarsely like that. Then he ask, is it like when you got flu like that? I mah say yes lo. Then only he explained to me what actually happened to me. He said actually I've been infected with flu,then I asked him, but there is no "liu pi ti" (in mandarin) also in me, how can it be flu leh? Then only doc explained that it's not actually the usual flu we all experiencing, and don't you worry out there reading this, not bird flu also la(there is a term to the sickness am having now, but forget the scientific name alr la) and say that's why have caused me the cough, the dizziness, the uncomfy stomach and etc. He checked my ears too and told me it's swollen cause I told him that sometimes my ears create the "blurness" like that (it's like when we go to high places, our ears will turn "blur" and we actually have to swallow saliva) So, according to him it's also due to my "flu case", very hard to explain in detail here. So he mah prescribe the necessary medicine in order to discharge all the "stock-up" mucus in my nose wor. The doc said I need to take extra pre-caution and be monitored as things may got worst which can affect my ears cause now they are inflammed already. Before the consultation ended, doc even asked me whether do I need MC or not wor? Ya...shocking leh...actually this doc seldom / very hard issuing MC to his patients but today, he himself asked me..*shocking* I actually want to, but how to when tomorrow I have a report due? *shrugged*

So, today got to force myself to follow all the prescriptions given by the doc and hopefully everything wil turn out fine for me soon. I don't want to be admitted to hospital.. *sob sob*..sigh and sigh.... :(

Virus attack again...x_x

Well, like I said in my previous post, I was down with sore throat already due to popping too much popcorn. So whenever this happen, usually the whole "family package" would come in. Hence yesterday fever struck me down, not to mention coughing was "visiting" together also. So, yesterday thought of staying back to finish my work, but I really can't stand and need to go back home soon. Once reached home, swallow a pill of panadol and straight to my dreamland. Uhmmm,u must be wondering, why I didn't go to see doctor,right? Errr...I need to admit that I don't really like to consume medicine lo, but who likes it anyway also, right? Another reason is that claiming back the medical fee is quite time consuming as our company did not practice the panel clinic way, meaning we got to pay first, then claim later. So,I slept from 7pm+ till 9pm when my hubby called me. Because I asked him to call me when reached, as I need to pass the complimentary KFC voucher to him as it's due on Mac 31, so accompanied him to go and claim his dinner. After that come back, and me only getting to see him enjoying the finger lickin' good meal...ishhhh ishhh. Later on, around 10pm+, I went to my dreamland again until this morning woke up,feeling much better compared to yesterday, but the coughing and itchiness of the throat still make me feel uncomfortable. So I guess your jaw must be dropping knowing the hours I slept yesterday...hahaha!!!

Then, today, we have team lunch. And majority votes goes to the Passion of Kerala venue for the lunch. Hence, I also just follow lo as I don't have any suggestions mah. A colleague of mine did have her concern of whether I can take the food, but I told her never mind, am fine with it, who knows maybe after taking it, I will be better? Hahaha...as -ve + -ve = +ve mah...LOL!!

And ya, we mah have all those spicy food which really triggers my throat and taste buds. But after that, I of course did drink lots and lots of water lo. But really thank God that my fever already subsides..though on and off it did came back, except for the itchiness of the throat and occasionally coughing lo. Aside all that, best of all is came to know today that one of my big case, the due date has being postponed!!Yippee!! Guess I won't be so stressful this week, after all it's Good Friday week also mah, I can then start of with my other cases which the due dates are all lining up this week....
