1st Anniversry of the day I changed my name...

Time flies really fast...today already marks the 1st anniversary of the day I changed my name. In conjunction to this, we had a night stay at Vistana hotel during the weekend (of course it was free as it was included in the package when we held our wedding function there).Didn't really have a big celebration, but just normal dinner only lo...

However, to my shocking surprise, hubby "kuai kuai shu shu" did something out of my expectation. He lied to me that he had to go down from hotel to get something from a friend...ya a friend that's what he says, and of course left me baffled that what on earth la is he going to get from his fried.

Mana tahu, when he came up and opened the door, his hand was carrying "The Surprise" (as shown in the picture below). My jaw dropped and was speechless when I saw it...because I didn't expect it to happen. ^_^ I was so delighted to see it. Although heart a bit ache that money is wasted, but who can resist the feeling of receiving it, especially girls?? Agree with me? :p

Anyway, today has marked a year of our journey together as one. We hope that God will continue to strengthen our relationship in whatever circumstances with His grace, mercy and wisdom as there's so much more challenges that we have to endure for many years to come.

Blessed 1st Anniversary to our Wedding Day...^o^ *toast toast*

Home Cook Dinner # 9 ^_^

Pheeww!!..finally catching up with the time already..lol! Since yesterday already cooked "east meal", so today going to attempt with "west meal".. haha. Today's meal was pretty much easy, nothing much need to be cut..just a few things like sausages (didn't buy bacon), tomatoes, mushrooms and etc. So, the meal for today is Fettucini Carbonara, however, with own creation of carbonara sauce...lol.. It's my 1st attempt to cook such sauce, and I was pretty satisfied with the results... hehehe...

Now, just hopefully hubby won't be complaining or anything.....haha, though I know got to always welcome feedback, if not how can one improve, right? But I guess most of you agree, if the feedback comes from other people's mouth, we feel ok, but if comes from our the other half, we tend to turn deaf ears.. am I right? *grinning*

This is because we will feel that we have gone thru all the troubles and time to prepare a meal, but in return receive all the "complains"?? Mana boleh, right? hahaha...I think I can sense your smile over there... ^_^.

Apart saying all that, we too must try and learn to accept hubby's comment or feedback as well, so we can improve ourselves..as after all, they are the ones to be the 1st batch "white mouse" or rather "guinea pigs" to taste all of our 1st attempt of food preparation.Ahem...great satisfaction right after reading the phrase "white mouse" or "guinea pigs"?? Kakaka... *high five*...Btw, shhh.just between you and me, pls don't let your hubby know about those two phrases.

Alright, I guess enough of my blabbering..here's the picture to share...

Home Cook Dinner # 8 ^_^

Hang on...this is no backdated post...it was just yesterday.. ^_^ During the weekends, thinking that there's still some poultry left in the fridge, hence decided to cook on Monday. So, while doing some groceries shopping during the weekends, bought some vegetables as well to be included in the meal, after all we are always advised to have a balanced diet ma..agree? :)

I didn't really manage to prepare the cutting job the night before as by the time reached home, was pretty exhausted already. So after work yesterday, quickly "F1" home (don't be kan cheong..just expressing only, I where got such high technique of driving..:p)to prepare all the necessary cuttings and ingredients that need to be used. So after several hours of cut and chop, clink and clank, here's what has been whipped for yesterday's dinner.

Stir Fried Broccoli with Bunashimeji Mushrooms {Beech Mushroms}

Baked Beans with Eggs

Actually there's another dish, but I didn't take the picture cause the sauce was too dark.. (I guess too much of thick dark caramel sauce gua or was it because of the lightning ...:p ) anyway, it was Stir Fried Sesame Chicken with Ginger. Nonetheless, hubby finished everything "spick-and-span" :)

Home Cook Dinner # 7 ^_^

Helloooo.....everybody..I'm back after so long...hahaha.. 1st thing 1st, though it was already a week past of the new year, nonetheless, still want to wish all of my friends and readers (if I have any which I doubt so) a very Blessed New Year and may this year brings abundance of joy and success in your life.

Actually, why the return of me in action took so long is because..err..err.. was pretty busy...eeekkk...I know my lies won't be able to trick you..yea, you've guessed it correctly, was actually kinda lazy to think and write...lol! Yaya, I know lame excuses...:p

So this post is going to be real.....backdated post as this dinner was prepared in the year 2010, to be exact on Dec 27, 2010...haha. So just want to have a record, hence just simply bla something and have it posted...hehe, don't mind ya.
